Church of St. Ignatius, Vilnius, Baroque cathedral in Old Town, Lithuania.

The Church of St. Ignatius features intricate brick construction with multiple altars, decorated frescoes, and Renaissance-era defensive walls with loopholes.

Construction began in 1622 under architect Tomasz Żebrowski, and the church was consecrated in 1647 by Archbishop Lubartowicz Sanguszko.

The noviciate library contained 3,000 books, while monks operated a brewery, pharmacy, and workshops producing goods for the local community.

The cathedral serves as the main church for the Lithuanian Armed Forces and stands at the intersection of Šv. Ignoto Street.

Two large anchors mark the entrance of the church, representing hope and reflecting the connection between the religious institution and military service.
