Pohulanka Theater

Pohulanka Theater is a theatre in Vilnius presenting classical and contemporary performances in a building with an asymmetrical facade and a grand staircase. The structure features modern acoustic equipment and a functional layout designed to provide a comfortable viewing experience.

The building was funded by Polish residents of Vilnius and opened in 1913, creating a new cultural space for the city. It shaped the artistic life of Vilnius from its founding and experienced various historical periods.

The theatre stages performances in Russian and remains the only professional venue in Lithuania dedicated entirely to Russian-language productions. Visitors experience performances that keep Russian artistic traditions alive and attract a particular audience.
