Bandužiai is a residential neighborhood in southern Klaipėda featuring numerous apartment buildings constructed during the 1970s and 1980s. The district is characterized by prefabricated concrete structures rising 5, 9, and 10 stories high from the 120 series design.
Archaeological evidence shows that people have lived in this region for about 2000 years, with burial sites discovered from the 1st to 13th century. These findings reveal that the area had continuous human presence since ancient times.
