Church of the Holy Trinity, Panevėžys

The Church of the Holy Trinity in Panevėžys is a Roman Catholic place of worship built with a single tower and stone masonry walls that display romantic classicism features. The structure stands out in the cityscape with its distinctive architectural design and proportions.

The church was built after 1812 and was converted to Orthodox use in 1847, marking a shift in its religious purpose. It returned to Catholic administration in 1918, ending its time under Orthodox care.

The church displays sculptures by Lithuanian artists Juozas Lebednykas and Alfridas Pajuodis that visitors encounter while walking through the interior. These works give the space a distinctly local character that reflects the community's artistic traditions.
