Wahl

Wahl is a rural settlement in Canton of Redange in western Luxembourg, sitting at an elevated position of about 448 meters. The village has a simple layout with scattered houses, typical of the local countryside.

The village experienced major population shifts over the years as people moved to other areas. In 2023, it merged with the neighboring settlement of Grosbous to form the new municipality of Groussbus-Wal.

The Saint-Maximin Church stands at the center of the village and shows the importance of faith in daily life here. The building reflects the craftsmanship that locals valued and passed down through generations.
