Echternacher See

Echternacher See is a recreational lake in Echternach surrounded by paved pathways that loop around the water for walking, cycling, and inline skating. The grounds include grassy areas and several zones designed for rest and leisure activities.

The site contains remnants of a Roman villa from ancient times, providing insight into the early history of the region. These archaeological discoveries show that the area was settled long ago.

The lake brings local families and friends together at barbecue areas where they share meals and spend leisure time. The picnic zones scattered around the water create comfortable spots for outdoor gatherings.
