Esseni mõis, Manor house in Spilve district, Latvia.
The old Esena manor stands at the northern end of Dzirciema street in Riga, featuring traditional Baltic architectural elements from the 18th century.
In 1615, town council member Kaspars Drelings acquired the property, which later passed through the Gotans family before being sold to Imanuel Justus Esen in 1774.
The manor housed an extensive collection of books and letters from European intellectuals including Voltaire, Diderot, Lavater, and Zulcer during the late 1700s.
The structure deteriorated substantially by 2015, with the surrounding grounds now covered in vegetation and the building no longer accessible to visitors.
Berlin academic J. Bernulli documented the manor's rare book collection during his visit between 1777 and 1778, noting several prohibited publications.
