Stade Sheikh Mohamed Laghdaf, Soccer stadium in Laayoune, Morocco
The Sheikh Mohamed Laghdaf Stadium features a standard field measuring 100 meters in length and 55 meters in width, accommodating 30,000 spectators.
The stadium construction was completed in 1984, followed by its official inauguration ceremony in 1985 as a primary sports facility in Laayoune.
The stadium serves as the home ground for Jeunesse d'El Massira football club and hosts regional sporting events throughout the year.
Located on Boulevard Khalid Ibn Al Walid, the stadium underwent renovations in 2011 with the installation of a synthetic playing surface.
In 2015, the venue hosted a commemorative match featuring former international players Diego Maradona, Abedi Pelé, and George Weah.
