The Government House stands as a six-story reinforced concrete structure with a white stone exterior in the shape of a Russian П letter.
Built in 1964 during the Soviet period, the Government House originally served as headquarters for the Council of Ministers of the Moldovan SSR.
The Monument to the Victims of the Soviet Occupation stands in front of the building, marking the complex relationship between Moldova and its past.
Located at the intersection of Stefan cel Mare Avenue and Great National Assembly Square, the building houses the current Cabinet of Moldova.
The main entrance features the national coat of arms, flag, and an inscription identifying it as the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
