Muzeul Memoriei Neamului

Muzeum Memoriei Neamului is a military and national institution in Chișinău that displays collections of weapons, uniforms, equipment, and documents spanning various periods of Moldovan armed forces history. The exhibitions focus on artifacts ranging from the Soviet occupation era to contemporary times.

The institution was founded in 2002 and documents the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina during the 20th century. Its founder was a former political prisoner who sought to preserve his experiences and those of his community.
