The Alley of Classics is a collection of twenty-five bronze bust portraits set on red polished granite bases within Ștefan cel Mare Park. Each sculpture represents a Romanian or Moldovan writer, creating a walkable outdoor gallery in the heart of Chișinău.
The collection was established in 1958 with the backing of Moldova's Writers' Union as a commitment to preserving literary history. This founding moment reflected the nation's decision to honor its authors through permanent public monuments.
