Warrior on Horseback, Bronze equestrian monument in Macedonia Square, Skopje, North Macedonia.
The statue measures 14.5 meters in height and stands on a 10-meter cylindrical column surrounded by bronze soldiers and lions at its base.
The monument was unveiled on September 8, 2011, marking twenty years of independence for North Macedonia following its separation from Yugoslavia.
The statue represents a central element of the Skopje 2014 project, which aimed to transform the capital through classical architectural elements and monuments.
Located in the heart of Skopje, the monument serves as a meeting point and reference landmark for visitors exploring the central district.
Eight bronze soldiers standing three meters tall and eight bronze lions encircle the base of the monument, creating a fountain installation.
