Admiralty House, Baroque palace in Valletta, Malta

The Admiralty House presents a two-story limestone structure with a monumental staircase and detailed architectural elements on its principal facade.

Built between 1569 and 1570 as two separate houses, architect Andrea Belli reconstructed the building into a single residence between 1761 and 1763.

The building served as the National Museum of Fine Arts from 1974 to 2016, displaying significant Maltese and European art collections.

Located on Triq Nofs-in-Nhar street, the palace stands near other historical buildings and remains accessible through Valletta's main thoroughfares.

The palace housed numerous Mediterranean Fleet Commanders from 1821 to 1961, including visits from King George V and Winston Churchill.
