Evoluon

The Evoluon is an exhibition building and event venue in Eindhoven featuring a distinctive concrete dome. The flying saucer-like structure serves today as a conference and exhibition space for various gatherings.

Philips Electronics commissioned the building in 1966 to mark the company's 75th anniversary. After serving initially as a science museum, it later shifted to other functions.

The building embodies Dutch modernism and was designed as a symbol of technological progress. Its circular form and futuristic shape remain a defining landmark in Eindhoven's landscape.
