Millennium Tower

Millennium Tower is a modern skyscraper in Rotterdam housing office spaces and a hotel across its 34 floors. The building rises approximately 131 meters and features a straightforward design that reflects contemporary architecture.

The tower was designed by WZMH Architects in the late 1990s and first introduced a new construction method to the Netherlands. This building technique improved speed and efficiency in how the structure came together.

The structure represents Rotterdam's architectural evolution, combining commercial offices with the Marriott Hotel across its first 15 floors.

The tower sits next to Rotterdam Central Station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Multiple elevators throughout the building ensure convenient movement between floors for all visitors.

Construction teams cut the time needed to complete each floor from ten days down to four through the innovative building approach. At the same time, the need for crane work was cut in half.
