Description
Sint Urbanuskerk is a neo-gothic church in Bovenkerk featuring a hexagonal tower rising 65 meters above the surroundings. The building contains three naves and a transept, creating the characteristic layout of this architectural style.
History
Pierre Cuypers designed this building, which was constructed between 1875 and 1888 and replaced an older house of worship near De Poel. Its completion marked an important moment in the religious development of the region.
