Founded in 1897 with just thirteen students, including one female pupil, the institution relocated to Diaconessenstraat during the 1930s for expansion.

The current building on Koningsbergerstraat houses 943 pupils and 70 teachers, maintaining high academic standards with exceptional examination results.
The school achieved national recognition by ranking first among Dutch educational institutions in 2011, with a 99 percent examination success rate.
