Djengu River, Water ride in Toverland, Netherlands
Djengu River is a boat ride in the Magische Vallei section of Toverland theme park. The route travels several hundred meters through waterfalls and rapids with boats carrying up to nine passengers.
The attraction opened in 2013 and expanded Toverland's offerings with a new water ride. Hafema, the manufacturer, created a significant addition to the growing theme park.
The attraction draws its name from West African river deities, while incorporating fictional characters called Dwervels who interact with passing boats.
The ride lasts about four minutes and is accessible for different heights. Visitors under 120 centimeters should be accompanied by an adult to participate.
Each boat accommodates nine passengers through a 240-second journey featuring multiple water effects and specialized lifting mechanisms for accessibility.
