Art Museums of Bergen

The KODE museum organization manages four art museum buildings and three composer homes, displaying over 50,000 objects including paintings, sculptures, and musical instruments.

The Rasmus Meyer Museum section, established in 1924, contains a collection of Norwegian art from 1880 to 1920, including numerous works by Edvard Munch.

The museums hold regular concerts, exhibitions, educational workshops, and artist discussions, connecting the visual arts with musical experiences through their collections.

Visitors can purchase an all-inclusive ticket for access to every KODE location, with the museums operating Wednesday through Sunday between 11:00 and 18:00.

The museum buildings contain works from Edvard Munch, including 'Weeping Woman' from 1907 and 'Summer Night, Inger on the Beach' from 1889.
