Blåmanen

Blåmanen rises 554 meters above sea level, standing as one of the seven mountains that form a natural border around Bergen's central district.

The mountain paths of Blåmanen developed through centuries of local use, connecting different parts of Bergen Municipality through established walking routes.

Local residents regularly trek to Blåmanen's peak throughout the year, following Norwegian traditions of outdoor physical activities regardless of weather conditions.

The summit can be reached through multiple marked trails, with the most direct route starting from the upper station of Fløybanen funicular railway.

From the peak of Blåmanen, visitors observe the meeting point of Bergen's urban landscape with the Norwegian fjords stretching toward the North Sea.
