The 45-hectare park contains over 200 bronze and granite sculptures depicting human forms, relationships, and activities across its landscaped grounds.
The site transformed from a baroque garden of Frogner Manor in 1750 to a public recreational space, officially opening its gates in 1914.
The sculpture collection examines the complete cycle of human life through figures engaged in daily activities, expressing emotions, and physical movements.
The park remains open every day throughout the year, with multiple entrances accessible via Oslo trams, buses, and metro stations.
The central Monolith structure rises 14 meters high, featuring 121 human figures carved from a single piece of granite.
