Great Fountain in Vigeland Sculpture Park

The Great Fountain is a centerpiece in the Vigeland Sculpture Park featuring numerous bronze figures arranged around a central pool that channels water through multiple troughs and basins. The structure spans a large area and combines water, stone, and metal into a unified artistic composition.

The work was created by Gustav Vigeland over four decades, forming a major part of his extensive sculpture collection between 1906 and 1947. It represents the artistic development and legacy of one of Norway's most important sculptors.
