The Tramway Museum

The Tramway Museum displays vintage trams, buses, photographs, models, and drawings documenting the development of public transportation in Oslo through the decades.

The museum preserves artifacts from the 1960s transformation period when Oslo's tram network underwent substantial operational changes to meet growing urban requirements.

Exhibits at the museum demonstrate how the tram network supported major events, including the Form og Flora exhibition at Frognerparken in 1965.

The museum welcomes visitors from Saturday through Monday between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, with accommodations for wheelchair users through modified entrances.

The museum offers guided bus tours called Bussringen that take visitors through historical sections of Oslo while explaining the city's transportation evolution.
