Mabini

Mabini is a coastal municipality in Batangas province situated between two bays. The area is organized into several local administrative divisions spread along the shoreline.

The region was originally part of Spanish colonial rule under Bauan. It declared independence in 1918 and became its own municipality.

The name comes from Apolinario Mabini, a key figure in the Philippines' struggle for independence. Local residents keep his memory alive through monuments and stories shared throughout the community.

Main administrative services are concentrated in the eastern areas, making it straightforward to handle official matters. The place is compact enough to explore, but ask locals for directions before heading to a specific destination.

The waters here rank among the oldest and most popular diving spots in the country. Beginners and experienced divers still come to explore the underwater world.
