Datu Paglas

Datu Paglas is a municipality in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Maguindanao del Sur, comprising numerous barangays spread across the terrain. The area is organized through a local governance system with 23 barangays that serve as its primary administrative divisions.

The area was established in 1973, emerging from seven northern barangays of the neighboring municipality of Columbio. This founding marked an important development in the administrative organization of the Maguindanao region.

Visitors should know that roads connect the various barangays, though conditions can vary. Travel is easiest during the drier months when pathways and routes between settlements are most accessible.
