The two-story white residence features sliding capiz windows, decorative ventanillas, and tracery-adorned transoms across its Beaux-Arts architectural design.
Built between 1920 and 1922, the house was home to Don Gregorio Pelaez, the first governor of Misamis Oriental, and Emmanuel Pelaez, Vice President of Philippines.
The residence holds a collection of artifacts, including antique furniture, porcelain pieces, religious items, and family photographs documenting regional heritage.
Located in North Poblacion, Medina, the property maintains its upkeep through agricultural activities such as coconut farming and poultry raising.
The Japanese master carpenter who supervised the construction incorporated local timber and iron-wood pillars throughout the structure.
