Santa Monica–Lawton Bridge, Road bridge across Pasig River in Metro Manila, Philippines.
The Santa Monica–Lawton Bridge is a road bridge that crosses the Pasig River, linking the districts of Taguig and Pasig in Metro Manila. The structure spans 613 meters and accommodates four lanes of traffic flowing in both directions.
Construction of the bridge began in 2017 as part of a major infrastructure initiative and it opened to traffic in 2021. The completion improved transportation connections across the Pasig River for the metropolitan region.
The bridge connects diverse communities between Bonifacio Global City and Ortigas, fostering integration between different Metro Manila districts.
The bridge shortens travel routes between the two districts considerably. This route becomes especially useful during peak traffic hours when congestion builds on older major roads.
A viaduct extension stretching 565 meters forms the direct link to a major commercial avenue in the neighboring business zone. This specific design allows traffic to flow straight into the business district without additional turns.
