Makati Park and Garden, Public park in Makati, Philippines
Makati Park and Garden is a 3.5-hectare green space along the Pasig River featuring a lake, fountains, a waterfall, and an aviary. The grounds include walking paths and recreational facilities spread throughout the riverside setting.
The park was established in 2001 as part of a major river rehabilitation initiative for the Pasig River and its surroundings. This green space represented an important step in restoring the waterway that flows through the city.
The Artist Pavilion serves as a gathering spot where community celebrations and neighborhood events take place throughout the year. Local residents and visitors naturally meet here to share meals and enjoy live music under the open sky.
The park is located on J.P. Rizal Extension in West Rembo and opens daily from early morning until 10:00 PM with easy public access. Swimming facilities are available on-site for visitors who want to use the water amenities.
A one-kilometer riverside walkway connects the park to Guadalupe Ferry Station, allowing visitors to walk continuously along the river through downtown areas. This continuous path offers a quieter route compared to the busier city streets nearby.
