Karachi Zoo

Karachi Zoo is a zoological garden in Pakistan that houses various animals from around the world. The grounds include a reptile house with native snake species and an aquarium section displaying marine life from the Arabian Sea.

This facility was founded in 1878 and was formerly known as Gandhi Garden. It ranks among the oldest animal parks in South Asia.

The botanical garden section displays indigenous plant species and traditional medicinal herbs from the Sindh region. Visitors can see how these plants are connected to local healing practices and daily life in the area.

The zoo is located at the intersection of Nishtar Road and Sir Aga Khan III Road. Plan your visit with comfortable walking shoes and bring water, as the area can get quite hot.
