Karachi Zoo, Zoological garden in Karachi, Pakistan
The complex spans 130,000 square meters and houses 880 animals representing 80 different species, including elephants, tigers, bears, and various reptiles.
Established in 1878, this facility was once known as Gandhi Garden and stands as one of the oldest animal parks in South Asia.
The zoo contains a botanical garden section that presents indigenous plant species and traditional medicinal herbs from the Sindh region.
Located at the intersection of Nishtar Road and Sir Aga Khan III Road, the zoo receives over 2.3 million visitors annually.
The reptile house features native snake species, while the aquarium section displays marine life from the Arabian Sea.
