Murowana Goślina

Murowana Goślina is a municipality in Greater Poland Voivodeship with two distinct parts: a traditional center featuring a market square and a newer residential district called Zielone Wzgórza. These two sections form the current character of this settlement.

Archaeological finds show human settlement in this region dating back to the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods. The area gained village rights sometime before 1389 and developed into a local center from that point forward.

The Regional Museum, located in a former administrative building, displays objects and documents about how people lived in this area over generations. Visitors can see tools, photographs, and household items that tell stories of daily life here.

This settlement connects to Poznań by regular bus services and railway, making it easy to reach from the surrounding region. The station and main bus stops are located in the traditional center, from which visitors can walk to explore the different areas.

Part of Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park extends into this municipality, covering extensive forest areas north of Poznań. This woodland acts as a natural separator from the densely built surroundings and offers space for outdoor pursuits.
