Zwardoń

Zwardoń is a mountain village in the Żywiec Beskids positioned at about 690 meters elevation along the Poland-Slovakia border. The landscape features forested slopes and valleys, with facilities and buildings nestled into the terrain.

The settlement began in the 17th century as a shepherd village called Myto and appeared on official maps in the late 18th century. Its position on a mountain pass made it a practical stopping point for travelers and trade moving between regions.
