Śrem

Śrem is a city on the Warta River in Greater Poland Voivodeship, stretching with residential neighborhoods and industrial zones along both banks of the waterway. The town combines an older city core with modern production facilities, serving as a regional trade hub.

The city received municipal rights in 1253 from Dukes Bolesław the Pious and Przemysł I, becoming an important node for trade routes in the region. From that time forward, Śrem evolved from a trading post into a production center.

Śrem serves as a working center for crafts and manufacturing, where workshops and small factories shape daily life in the town. The local character reflects how traditional skills remain active in the region today.
