Łazienki Palace, Neoclassical palace in Royal Łazienki Park, Warsaw, Poland
The white marble palace rises from an artificial island in a lake, connected to the surrounding gardens by two colonnaded bridges.
Originally built as a baroque bathhouse in 1689 by Tylman van Gameren, the structure was transformed into a royal residence between 1772 and 1793.
The palace houses a collection of 140 paintings from the original royal collection, including works by European masters of the 17th and 18th centuries.
Visitors can explore the royal apartments, ballroom, and portrait gallery through guided tours available in multiple languages from Tuesday through Sunday.
The palace reflects in the waters of the lake, creating a perfect mirror image that doubles its architectural features during calm weather conditions.
