Viaducts in Stańczyki, Railway bridges in Stańczyki, Poland
The Viaducts in Stańczyki are two parallel railway bridges that span a wooded valley with five arches each and a total length of 180 meters. Both structures carry or once carried rail traffic across this forested terrain and remain prominent features in the local landscape.
The northern bridge was constructed between 1912 and 1914 for a railway line serving East Prussia. The southern structure was added later following similar engineering principles and design approaches.

You can descend a trail below to view the five arches up close or walk along the top to see the entire structure. The best time to explore is during daylight when the construction details and surrounding forest are clearly visible.
The five arches of each bridge follow a graceful construction that spans the wooded valley without disrupting the natural terrain below. This design approach reflects early 20th century engineering that adapted to the existing landscape rather than dominating it.
