Wrzeszcz extends over 6.42 square kilometers and contains both residential areas and commercial zones, with modern buildings alongside historical structures and green spaces.
The district grew significantly after the construction of its railway station in 1870, which became the third established railway line in Gdańsk.
The Garnizon neighborhood within Wrzeszcz combines neo-Renaissance brick monuments with contemporary architecture, forming a center for urban activities and community events.
