Kościół Mariacki w Szczecinie

Kościół Mariacki in Szczecin was a Gothic structure featuring three naves, a polygonal choir, and a dominant tower as its focal point. This layout made it one of the most recognizable religious buildings in the city, visible from many streets and squares.

A chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary existed as early as 1243, and Duke Barnim I Gryfita funded construction of a stone church in 1263. This establishment made it one of the city's most important religious sites for the following centuries.
