Saint Bartholomew church in Gliwice

The Saint Bartholomew church stands 92 meters high with a rectangular floor plan, featuring a square chancel and an elongated rectangular nave with brick construction.

The church originated from a wooden structure built by Templars in 1232, while the current building was established in 1911 following Gothic Revival architecture principles.

The interior contains preserved 17th-century wall paintings depicting Mary's genealogy, along with Baroque and Neoclassical elements including sculptures of Saint Peter and Paul.

Located at 36 Toszecka Street in the Sobieszowice district, the church allows exterior viewing but maintains restricted access to its interior spaces.

The church includes a three-storied tower topped with battlements and contains a collection of 18th-century religious furnishings including a holy water font and confessional.
