Raba Wyżna

Raba Wyżna is a village in Lesser Poland Voivodeship situated on rolling countryside and serving as the administrative center of its commune. The settlement features a church built in 1581 and maintains the rural character typical of southern Polish villages, with farmland and forests surrounding the built-up areas.

The village was established in the mid-1500s and grew into a settled community with about 43 farms by 1581. The construction of the church that same year reflected the consolidation of the community and marked its development as a formal parish center.

The Church of Saint Stanisław Bishop and Martyr sits at the heart of village life, where locals gather for religious celebrations and community events. This wooden structure and its surroundings reflect how faith has shaped the rhythm and traditions of daily life here.
