Church of the Holy Cross in Chabówka

The Church of the Holy Cross in Chabówka is a wooden structure built using traditional methods common to this region within Rabka-Zdrój municipality. The building features a timber frame with interior wooden elements and sits within a walled compound that defines the sacred grounds.

The wooden church was built in 1757 to replace an earlier chapel that stood on this site. In 1901, it underwent major restoration work when the original tower was transformed into a proper steeple.
