K1, Commercial skyscraper in Kraków, Poland

The K1 building reaches 105 meters in height with 20 floors, featuring a characteristic blue exterior and a central tower surrounded by a 4-story rotunda.

Construction started in 1972 for a publishing cooperative, but ceased in 1975 due to structural concerns before Swedish company Swede Center completed the project in 1998.

The tower represents the transition from socialist-era architecture to modern design, marking a period of architectural evolution in post-war Poland.

The structure contains 12,800 square meters of office space, housing Bank Pekao and multiple companies near the Grzegórzeckie Roundabout and main transportation links.

The building earned the title 'Building of the Year 1998' for its design and implementation under the patronage of the Marshal of Malopolska.
