Konarski Secondary School in Rzeszów

Konarski Secondary School is a stone educational complex with classical architectural features located in Rzeszów's Old Town. The three-story building has tall windows and an interior courtyard situated near 3 Maja Street.

The school was established in 1646 when Zofia Prudencjanna Ligęza funded the project and architect Tylman van Gameren designed the building. It emerged as part of a monastic complex during the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth era.

The school honors Stanisław Konarski, an 18th-century educator who transformed teaching methods across Poland. His name reflects the institution's role in advancing modern education and remains meaningful to the local community.

The main entrance is accessible from 3 Maja Street, with public transportation stops nearby for easy arrival. Since this remains an active school, access to the interior may be restricted depending on school activities.

The building retains its original stone foundations from the 17th century, reflecting the construction methods of the Piarist order. Educational activities continue within the former monastery complex, creating a blend of historical architecture and contemporary school operations.
