Church of the Holy Cross in Rzeszów

The Church of the Holy Cross is a sacred building in Rzeszów combining late Baroque style with Rococo elements, featuring two towers that frame the central section of its facade. The interior displays elaborate decorative details typical of religious architecture from this period.

Construction began in 1642 under the leadership of Zofia Prudencjanna Ostrogska, initially intended for the Poor Clare sisters before being given to the Piarist order. This change of purpose shaped the building's role in the city's development.
