Oławski Bridge, Historic bridge in central Wrocław, Poland.
The Oławski Bridge spans 73.8 meters across the Oława River, featuring brick arches covered with stone blocks and ornate railings with Baroque architectural elements.
Initially constructed between 1879 and 1883 under the direction of Alexander Kaumann, the bridge replaced a previous wooden structure used for cattle transportation.
The bridge incorporates decorative metal elements crafted by Gustav Trelenberg and sculptures created by P. Heisler under Robert Toberentza's supervision in the 1880s.
The structure maintains its durability through a granite block surface and has undergone complete renovations in 1962 and 1990 to preserve its functionality.
Before World War II, the bridge supported a tram line and was known by multiple names including Mauritius Brücke and Margarethenbrücke during different periods.
