Wrocław Multimedia Fountain, Multimedia fountain at Centennial Hall, Poland
The Multimedia Fountain at Centennial Hall is a modern water feature with hundreds of jets and underwater lights arranged across a spacious pool. The system combines water, fire, and lighting effects into coordinated displays.
The fountain was built in 2009, replacing a historic pond from 1913 that was created for the Centennial Exhibition. This renovation brought the traditional water feature into the digital age.
The fountain presents daily water and light shows synchronized with classical compositions, including pieces by Wagner and Beethoven throughout the season.
The fountain operates from April through October, with shows starting at dusk and running until 10 PM each evening. The water surface is large, so visitors can watch from multiple vantage points around the area.
The central jet shoots water up to 40 meters high while surrounded jets create precise synchronized patterns. This extreme height and coordination produce an unexpected intensity for a large urban feature.
