Góra Moraska, Hilltop nature reserve in Poznań, Poland
The hill rises 154 meters above sea level, forming the highest elevation point in Poznań with dense forest cover and hiking paths throughout the area.
The region gained recognition in 1914 when local farmers discovered several meteorite fragments, leading to scientific research of the surrounding craters.
Students from Adam Mickiewicz University conduct field studies and research projects at the hill, making it an educational center for natural sciences.
Visitors can access the summit through marked yellow trail number 3685, which connects with other hiking paths in the northern section of Poznań.
The hill contains water retention tanks with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters, built between 1978 and 1988 to regulate Poznań's water supply network.
