Divine Mercy church in Poznań is a parish church on the Jana III Sobieskiego estate in Piątkowo, designed by Jerzy Liśniewicz and built under site manager Henryk Wlaź. Clinker brick is the dominant building material. A bell funded by parishioners from Diepoldsau in Switzerland, designed by Saturnin Skubiszyński, hangs in the church.

Permission to build a church on the newly laid-out Sobieskiego housing estate was granted on 1 July 1982, and priest Marian Nowak was put in charge. On 20 June 1983 John Paul II consecrated a cornerstone taken from the walls of Poznań Cathedral, and the parish was erected on 22 April 1984. Designed by Jerzy Liśniewicz with Henryk Wlaź as site manager, the church was consecrated by archbishop Jerzy Stroba on 19 December 1991 and raised to archdiocesan Sanctuary of Divine Mercy on 22 April 2001.

The parish was erected on 22 April 1984, and on 22 April 2001 Archbishop Juliusz Paetz raised the church to the rank of archdiocesan Sanctuary of Divine Mercy. A copy of the Shroud of Turin was received on 3 March 2004. A memorial plaque to Father Marian Nowak, the first parish priest, was set into the outer wall on 21 March 2007.

The church stands on the Jana III Sobieskiego housing estate in Piątkowo, northern Poznań. The plot was consecrated on 11 September 1983, the 300th anniversary of the Battle of Vienna, and the parish was erected on 22 April 1984. Visitors reach the site by the estate's streets; the church was consecrated on 19 December 1991.

The cornerstone, consecrated by John Paul II on 20 June 1983, was taken from the walls of Poznań Cathedral. A memorial plaque to Father Marian Nowak, who led the building effort, was set into the outer wall on 21 March 2007. A bell funded by parishioners from Diepoldsau in Switzerland hangs here.
