Góra Parkowa

Góra Parkowa rises to about 741 meters above sea level in the center of Krynica-Zdrój and offers views of the Beskid Sądecki and Beskid Niski mountain ranges. The summit features hiking trails, fitness paths, and a modern mountain biking track that was built for international competitions.

The mountain was home to Poland's first cable car system, installed in 1937, which revolutionized mountain access for the region. This early infrastructure made the location an important destination for recreation in that era.

The mountain is surrounded by a landscaped park that has existed for roughly two centuries, offering pathways, ponds, and recreational spaces for both visitors and local residents. This green space shapes daily life in Krynica-Zdrój and serves as a meeting point for people of all ages.

The mountain is accessible year-round with various activities available, including sledding slopes in winter and well-maintained hiking trails in summer. Visitors should wear sturdy footwear and check weather conditions, especially if planning to reach the summit.

On clear days, visitors can see the Tatra Mountains from the summit in the distance, making the view particularly special. The sight extends in multiple directions, turning the peak into a versatile viewing point when weather conditions are favorable.
