Park Zdrojowy

Park Zdrojowy is a forest park set on a mountain, spreading across about 6 hectares and holding several ponds along with wooden pavilions from earlier times. The paths lead through thick trees and connect different areas, creating spots throughout where you can stop and take in the surroundings.

The park was founded around 1810 and kept the original arrangement of its paths over the decades. Later, monuments like a statue were added to mark important moments in the place's history.

The park's name comes from the mineral water springs that flow through it, central to the spa tradition that shaped the town. You can see how this healing purpose influenced the layout of walking routes and rest pavilions throughout.

Getting to the highest points in the park means climbing hills and steps, so good footwear is important. The paths are well-kept and easy to follow, but you should expect some physical effort.

The park holds tree species that are not native, like Douglas fir and Japanese trees that visitors likely overlook. These foreign trees blend seamlessly with the local forest and create an interesting woodland mix.
