Rezerwat przyrody Jezioro Piaseczno, Nature reserve at Lake Piaseczno in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland
Lake Piaseczno is a nature reserve in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship featuring a lake at its center surrounded by dense forest extending to the water's edge. The lake occupies about 41 hectares, while the entire protected area encompasses roughly 160 hectares with forest making up about three-quarters of the land.
This protected area was formally established in 2001 through an official regulation designating it as a nature reserve by regional authorities. This designation marked the beginning of formal protection for the lake and surrounding forest from outside interference.
Two marked walking trails cross this area, the red path called 'Hundred from Heaven' and the black path named 'Zagloba's Path', each offering different views of the surroundings. Locals and visitors alike use these routes to experience the reserve on foot.
Access to the reserve is best through the marked walking trails that lead through the forest toward the lake. Visitors should stay on these paths to protect the natural surroundings while enjoying their visit.
The lake maintains exceptionally clear water due to its natural isolation from human pollution and outside influences. This remoteness has allowed the water to retain its purity and clarity over time.
