Rezerwat przyrody Luboń Wielki, Nature reserve in Beskid Wyspowy Mountains, Poland
The Luboń Wielki Reserve spans 35 hectares on the southern slopes of Mount Luboń Wielki, featuring steep terrain and massive rock formations.
The protected area was established in 1970 with 12 hectares and expanded to 35 hectares in 2004 to preserve the geological formations and forest habitats.
The reserve includes a mountain shelter managed by PTTK organization, which serves as a meeting point for nature enthusiasts and hikers.
Access to the reserve requires following marked hiking trails from Rabka-Zaryte, with the yellow trail leading through rock formations to the summit.
The reserve contains 13 documented caves, with the largest cave maintaining its own microclimate and serving as a winter shelter for bats.
